Why Should I Have a Photo Session?
Getting fixed up and having your photos taken to showcase you in the best image is an empowering experience. It is the perfect reason to celebrate everything about you. It is for everyone of all ages, sizes and shapes. Some people do it to have beautiful, intimate or sexy photos to share, give to their loved ones and some do it just because. The purpose behind it all is to celebrate YOU, and I want you to do it because ultimately it’s a photos are a gift for everyone!
How do I get scheduled and when?
Check our contact page and get connected with someone about booking. Sessions are by appointment only. Weekends book quicker than weekdays, especially during the holiday season. I recommend scheduling your session as soon as you have decided to do one as dates fill quickly. A non-refundable deposit is required to book. Please inquire with us for more information.
Where do these sessions take place?
There are two options, in studio and on location. Travel is within the San Diego area primarily but if you have a place in mind, let me know to talk about the details.
Think about the setting and make sure wardrobe complements the surroundings. Consider how well the colors and patterns in the wardrobes will stand out against the backdrops of your location.
Will my photos be seen online?
Not unless we have your consent. Your photos are NEVER shared without your permission. We understand and respect your privacy if you choose not to have your images published. Your images are in a gallery protected via password.
What is required to book?
After a phone consultation, a non-refundable deposit will be required.
When can I view my photos?
Photos will be ready for viewing at your scheduled review date, typically 3 weeks following the session. Rush processing is available (at an additional cost) should you need your photos by a deadline, such as for an anniversary, birthday, wedding, etc.
What should I/we wear?
Stick to clothing without large logos or designs that can be distracting.
Bright or soft colors, but keep it simple. Accessorize and think outside the box. Scarves, hats, flowers in the hair for girls, jewelry, sweaters, vests, jackets, umbrellas, etc. – All these things can take a ho-hum image and make it feel “complete.” Don’t let the accessories overwhelm the subject or the photos though.
I encourage you to bring at least 2-3 outfits for a variety of looks.
How long does a photo session last?
They approximately last for 3 hours, 90 minutes for hair and makeup, 90 minutes photographing.
